How do I delete my account?

Want a copy of your data first? In Settings, under Your data, choose Download my data.

1. 01Open Settings and scroll down to Delete account.
2. 02Choose Delete my account.
3. 03Type your username to confirm. If we ask for your password, enter it too.
4. 04Choose Schedule deletion. We email you the date your account will be deleted.

Until the deletion date, your account works as normal. To keep it, open Settings and choose Cancel deletion, or use the button in the email we sent you. Nothing is removed.

• Your profile, posts, stories, comments, likes and follows are removed.
• Subscriptions end, both the ones you pay for and the ones fans pay you for. To stop a renewal sooner, cancel it in Settings › Manage subscriptions.
• Messages you’ve already sent stay in the other person’s inbox, without your name.
• We keep the records the law requires, such as payment, tax and age-verification records.
• Once your account is deleted, you can’t log in or get it back. We email you when it’s done.

• You still have earnings: withdraw them first. For money still inside the chargeback window or reserve, contact support.
• A payout is on its way: you can delete your account once it has been paid.
• Your account is suspended: you can delete it once the suspension ends.
• Your account is part of an open safety review: contact support.
