The short answer
Open Settings and switch on Two-Factor Authentication under Security. After that, each time you log in with your password, we email you a 6-digit code to enter.
Turn it on
- 01Open Settings and scroll down to Security.
- 02Switch on Two-Factor Authentication. We email you a code straight away.
- 03Enter the 6-digit code from the email. It expires in 10 minutes.
Confirming with a code first makes sure codes reach your inbox before you rely on them.
Logging in with two-factor on
- 01Log in with your email or username and your password, as usual.
- 02Check your email for a message titled “… is your Fanulu login code”.
- 03Enter the code on the Enter your login code screen. Each code works once and expires in 10 minutes.
No code? Check your spam folder, or choose Resend code. If you’ve asked for several codes, wait a minute and try again.
Fanulu will never ask you for this code by email, message or phone. Got a code you didn’t ask for? Someone knows your password, so reset it now.
Good to know
- Codes go to the email address on your account, so keep that email account secure too.
- Two-factor applies when you log in with a password. If you use Continue with Google or Continue with X, that account protects your login, so turn on two-step verification there as well.
- To turn it off, switch it off in the same place and confirm with a code we email you.
