The short answer
Anyone 18 or older can become a creator. Verify your identity with a government photo ID and a quick selfie, and once you’re approved you can post and set up subscriptions.

Get verified
- 01Open Settings and choose Get Verified next to Creator Verification. You can also tap Create, and we’ll ask you to verify first.
- 02Say whether you’re a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident. U.S. residents need a U.S.-issued ID.
- 03Choose Start verification, then scan your ID and take a quick selfie.
- 04Keep the page open until it finishes. It updates by itself.

After you’re approved
- Tap Create to post a video, photo or gallery. See Videos, photos and galleries.
- Set your subscription prices in Studio › Monetize. See Setting up subscription tiers.
- Add a payout method so you can withdraw what you earn. See How do I get paid?
- If someone else appears in a post, they need to consent too. See Adding co-performers.
