The short answer
Tag everyone who appears in your post. The post stays private until each person you tagged has verified their identity and approved appearing in it.
Tag people in a post
- 01In the composer, find Who’s in this and tap Tag people.
- 02Search by username, or type an email address to invite someone who isn’t on Fanulu.
- 03Add everyone who appears in the post, up to 10 people.
- 04Tick “I certify everyone in this post is tagged, is 18+, and has consented.”
- 05Post it. You’ll see “Posted — goes live once everyone tagged confirms.”
Posting alone? Don’t tag anyone, and tick “I certify I’m the only person in this post, I’m 18+, and I consent to post it.”
What the people you tag do
- On Fanulu: they get a notification and an email. They choose Approve or Decline, and verify their identity if they haven’t already.
- Not on Fanulu: they get an email with a secure link. On that page they confirm their consent and verify their identity. The link expires after 7 days.
Everyone who appears in your post must be a verified adult who agreed to be in it. Read 2257 record-keeping explained to learn why.
Until everyone confirms
The post shows Pending verification in Studio › Content, and nobody else can see it. Once the last person has verified and approved, it goes live and we notify you.
If someone declines, we let you know and the post stays private. Tags can’t be changed after you post, so if someone declines or an invite expires, delete the post and post it again with the right people tagged.
